Matrix hood makes a great style statement by Louie Liu
Matrix made by Toyota was released in the market in 2003. It is a small-size wagon but taller than the normal cars of this size. Toyota cars are known for their reliability, Matrix only conforms that reputation. Spacious front seats and well designed back seats make the car comfortable for passengers. There is ample space for cargo as well and it can carry large sized sport items. Its main attraction is its high fuel economy. Its second generation has been introduced in 2009 which is superior to earlier models. It is comfortable for the driver as well, as all the controls can be easily reached without stretching and it has a telescoping steering wheel. It is marketed in three trim levels. A four-wheel drive version of the car is also available. In 2005 stability control and air bags have been added which makes it more safe. Though it was initially aimed to appeal to the younger generation it has found favor with the customers of all ages.
Customers look for a safe car which can protect the passengers and the driver at all times. Matrix addresses such demands very well. But what protects the car engine and other machinery sorrounding it. Matrix hood takes care of that, it protects them from outside elements. A hood can be made of steel, or aluminum, or fiberglass, or carbon fiber. A carbon fiber hood is lighter which has certain advantages. It reduces the overall weight of tha car and so it requires less power in hauling. That leads to economy on fuel. Despite being light carbon fiber hoods can be quite strong and durable. They are able to withstand hot sorroundings of the engine. Moreover a lighter hood reduces weight over the front wheels which gives better balance to a car. You can have vents in the hood to allow air to come in to cool the engine which can improve its efficiency.
