2007 Mongoose Amasa Comp?

Does anyone know the factory weight of a Mongoose Amasa Comp? Also does it have a good frame? The components it comes with are excellent for the price, $100 less than similarly spec’d bikes from other companies.

For the money, you are right. It is specced better than anything else in it’s price range.

A common mistake in shopping for bikes is placing any credence in the weight of a bike. You’ll find that comparably equipped and priced bikes will weigh close to the same, and I can guarantee you that the difference of a pound or 2 either way will not affect the typical rider.

Don’t shop by weight… shop by components and performance.
